Windows 7: screen size in Netflix/internet tv

screen size in Netflix/internet tv

My tv screen size is great while watching TV and recorded shows.

When I watch Netflix streaming or internet TV, it looks like MC expands the show, so I only see part of it. The left hand side is fine, but the show expands off the screen to the right and bottom.

Does anyone know how to adjust this? I've been thru all the settings on MC and can't find anything.

Thanks,
Bill

I may try to change my IE settings. I have it set to zoom text size and page size so I can see it. Maybe that is affecting Netflix?

Had the same problem for Internet videos and received a reply in another thread to "turn off overscan". I finally found a way to do that on the TV, not the computer. Since TVs are different, I can't tell you how to do that, but that's where you must do it.

Thanks, I'll check for that setting, but don't remember seeing it in the set up menus. I do have an old TV tho. Changing the IE settings had no affect on the problem. I have to watch Netflix in IE and it works fine. BUt if I open it via MC it doesn't fit on the screen.
