How to link trailers to actual movie
If this is a redundant thread, then my apologies.
If you have a lot of movies, and want to impress your friends by showing trailers for your movie collection, then download and install this tool
The Green Button - GetTrailers
The auto downloader is the best feature in the app. It will scan the folder you want it to auto download to, then look for matching movies, then download to each matching folder. Now once you have all your trailers downloaded, you need to link it to the actual movie. Note: For this to work, you need to have Media Browser Vanilla edition installed.
Setting up the link:
In each movie folder edit or create MyMovies.xml (yes, it HAS to be called MyMovies.xml)
as such:
<Title>
<LocalTrailer>
<URL>D:\Trailers\trailer.mov</URL>
<Type>1</Type>
</LocalTrailer>
</Title>
Once you have the .xml created, and you launch MB, you will see a movie reel icon on the left side, click it to play the trailer without having to browse away from the movie, see attachment.
