Windows 7 and Blueray support (WMC)

    just stuck my spiderman 3 blu ray in and it plays the blu ray.
    I have a BD-RW drive but no discs so no way to test it

    it also depends on the hardware
    whether it supports
    High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection

    and do you have cyberlink because he's asking if you can play BD OTB (out of box)
    that would be beneficial for end users since they dont want to screw around codecs and player issues....

    although i shouldnt ask
    do you run w7 or Vista???
    just asking since windows media player and media center now are able to play more formats OTB so....

    Have you got PowerDVD/WinDVD/TotalMedia Theater installed, or are you playing this through Media Center?

    OP was asking if Windows 7 can playback BluRay films in Media Center with no additional software.

    yup wanted to know if it was playable in Windows Media Center right after Windows 7 is installed :)
