Slow searching through DVD

So i have been converting all my DVD over to the media center and i have about a 120 on my HD now. But i notice when i try to scroll through them, its very choppy and difficult to look through them. Is this normal ?

I have seen something similar, but did not have time to run it down since I use media center seldom.

My guess is that it's just the typical ms media software quality.

Scroll through the playback? Or scroll through the list? Scrolling through playback can be choppy if the video hasn't been loaded into your ram.

I was seeing the problem when looking through the list. So far playback has been good.
