    i am wanting to convet avi to vob format and cant find a good converter what do you guys use?

    avi to vob? do you mean dvd?

    if so, try dvdflick - it's free

    or convertxtodvd, it's not free, but it's good...

    both programs will take an avi (or several, or mkv, mp4 etc) and convert them to a dvd that can be played on stand-alone dvd players.
