Web Browsing at Mce

Is it true there is no Web browsers on Windows 7 media center ? Tried search didnt find answers.. really amazing web browsing is part of Htpc´s too

Welcome to the forum phiitpoi!

Media Center doesnt include a browser, but if you have a htpc (Home Theatre PC) it is a PC and will have any browser you install.

Yup i was just thinking cause linux mythtv has Browser plugin, its easier to go browsing internet without closing down mediacenter or sliding it to taskbar.

Trying to make 100% benefit of controlling pc by remote control = ) but i guess its not possible.. Maybe its easy to slide down media center and just start web-browser from desktop.

Really cool forums, i like this layout how this is done, so clear everything !

Just wandering if anyone here uses IE9 for day to day browsing? I've been trying to use it to surf around the web for about a week now and so far, it's been pretty good. Pages almost load up immediately (the ads load fast too :(). Been watching videos on YouTube and it's fast. The only downside...
