    Connecting computer to tv via dvi to hdmi?


    if i connect my computer to my tv with a dvi to hdmi cable, will the sound from my computer come out through the speakers on my tv?

    No!!

    HDMI to HDMI= Audio & Video
    DVI to HDMI= Video Only
    You need to connect sound card to tv speaker input, amp, etc.
