DMA2200 in Win7 NO "INTERNET TV"

    I can't See "Internet TV"

I have noticed that not everything I see see on the PC can be seen/used on the Extender and/or TV???

Internet TV was a huge draw for me, I'd finally thought I could flip, I mean switch, off the cable company and I could if only I could use Internet TV via my 3 DMA 2000's (yep, the idiot bought one for each TV).

INCREDIBLY linksys, who sold these to me asking my O/S while ordering, failed to mention they DO NOT support Windows 7 on this Device. They also don't know much about it under any other environment...

internet tv is not supported on any extender. of course there are not too many extenders around these days.

there are a few 3rd party apps that add some functionality to an extender..

playon being one of them which requires you to purchase a licence and then there are a few "front ends" that work with playon & the extender.. vmcplayit being one of a few.

    Works for me

My DMA 2200 works great in combination with Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit....

It even plays Internet stream through the "TV Gemist" plugin, which is a front end for websites like www.uitzendinggemist.nl. Every show you see when looking at the website www.uitzendinggemist.nl , www.rtlgemist.nl etc plays through my DMA2200.
Guess it's more of a matter of finding a suitable plugin for MC than the DMA2200 lacking...
