Windows can't play bluray. You'll need software that can. I use Cyberlink Power DVD 10.

This is the player that I bought and have had no problems..Samsung SH-B083L 8x BD Combo Drive. SH-B083L - Optical Disk Drives - Optical Disk Drives | SAMSUNG
some people have reported issues with cheaper drives.

If you install CyberLink PowerDVD, I believe you should be able to. There is a big "CyberLink PowerDVD" option on my WMC, which plays whatever disc I throw in. All from inside WMC. Unsure if the newer versions -- Blu Ray compatible -- can also be embeeded.

    BTW I'm running PowerDVD 9.
