    3GP / Quicktime Alternative


    anyone having problems playing 3gp files using Media Player Classic with QT Lite or Quicktime Alternative installed?

    have you used the lasest version??
    QT Lite

    i believe WMP works OOB correct...
    i mean using the FFdshow audio codec correct???

    yea it's the latest version and i downloaded it from free-codecs.com.

    oh wait, maybe i didnt have ffdshow installed.. haha
    im gonna install it now.

    EDIT: ok yea, it's working now after i installed ffdshow.

Have posted already re this but not under this heading. Can any-one recommend a safe alternative to Quicktime please.
I want to watch Apple movie Trailers. I'm running Win 7 Pro 64 bit and using Google Chrome, however I did try this with IE11 and Maxathon V4.4.3.4000 and the result is the same. I go to apple trailers and select a movie trailer to watch. I'm prompted to install Quicktime ! I already have Quicktime...
WMP instead of QuickTime!!?

Done all I know other than removing Quicktime... Windows 7 is new to me...makes me long for XP. Switched the majority of file associations from QT to WMP. Only remaining are specifically QT or just audio. Set WMP as default; set program access to not include QT as an option...tried to...
Are there any alternative downloads to Apples Quicktime that will play .MOV files? I prefer just a codec that will play the movies inside WMP if possible. I found "Quicktime Alternative" via google but it does not seem to work in Win 7 x64.

Do you need to install QuickTime in W7 RTM to get movie trailers from Apple.com to play in Firefox etc.?
