Xbox 360 and Media center - Subtitles Help

How can I watch a video on media center on xbox(i have win7) with subtitle?
The video and the srt file are on the same folder with the same name, but the subtitle isnt working, both on avi and mkv...

Try installing the PS3 media server. Though it doesn't work by going through the media center, but through the video apps. Stream Movies (.AVI) Subtitles To PlayStation 3 (PS3) XBox 360 - YouTube

Hi, i tried watching some FHD movies with MKV container and it works perfectly on media center, the only downside is i can't see subtitles. is there an add on or a setting i can use that can read external subtitle files from the same folder as the movie and with the same file name?
