- Needed a means of extending the life of the i7 CPU as several components on the last mobo (out of warranty Asus) had failed. Pulled the CPU, RAM and HHD's out of the old and put them in the new system. Saved about a $1000 there by not having to up grade to the current class of HW (Mobo, CPU, RAM). Socket 1366 mobo's are getting hard to find.
