Notebook on it's way for repair or replace, got picked up this lunchtime. Now a question of waiting for it to come back, hope it's not too long.
 

Yes I've got an Image backup on an external hard drive probably a week old. What did you think of the message ?

Turned off Friday night OK turned on Saturday morning and trouble started. If you nip over to eightforum and look for the thread of mine in General called Notebook wont boot you'll see the message that greeted me. Been on the phone this morning to Asus and just done an RMA form for them to come and get it and sort it out, I've now got to try and get that bloody stick of RAM out I put in just in case they send a new one rather than repair it. I'm not a happy bunny.

Oh dear, it's just grey here but at least it's still dry and we had a bit of sunshine earlier.
