Windows 7: Office 2007 Error in Loading DLL Access

Office 2007 Error in Loading DLL Access

I'am running Office Professional 2007 SP2 on a Dell Inspiron 1720 Laptop with OS Windows 7 Home Premium 32bit.

I have problems in Access 2007 when trying to import data from other programs ie Excel 2007. Each time I get an error message "Error in Loading DLL". I also get the error message when trying to write a report. I am currently studying for the Microsoft Office Specialist Certification & I am unable to carry out my studies because of this.

Microsoft Support website points you to Microsoft Answers. I've registered the required msdao15.dll & dao360.dll files as suggested there. A message confirmed the registration was successful but did not solve the problem.
I opened RegEdit & found the following entries

Key Name: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{00000507-0000-0010-8000-00AA006D2EA4}\InprocServer32
Class Name: <NO CLASS>
Last Write Time: 14/07/2009 - 5:41 AM

Value 0
Name: <NO NAME>
Data: %CommonProgramFiles%\System\ado\msado15.dll

Value 1
Name: ThreadingModel
Type: REG_SZ
Data: Both

Key Name: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\RunMRU
Class Name: Shell
Last Write Time: 28/07/2010 - 4:19 PM

Value 0
Name: a
Type: REG_SZ
Data: Regsvr32.exe "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\DAO\Dao360.dll"\1

Value 1
Name: MRUList
Type: REG_SZ
Data: ba

Value 2
Name: b
Type: REG_SZ
Data: Regsvr32.exe "C:\Program Files\Common Files\system\ado\Msado15.dll"\1

Should the file path for the entry %CommonProgramFiles%\System\ado\msado15.dll be C:\CommonPrograms%\System\ado\msado15.dll? Also should it be in quotes? If so, is it simply a case of clicking the entry in RegEdit, then clicking modify & changing the file path manually?

I've never amended entries in the Registry before & am very nervous about doing it. I don't want to make matters worse but don't know what else to do.

I would be grateful for any help on this one.
