I'am running Office Professional 2007 SP2 on a Dell Inspiron 1720 Laptop with OS Windows 7 Home Premium 32bit.
I have problems in Access 2007 when trying to import data from other programs ie Excel 2007. Each time I get an error message "Error in Loading DLL". I also get the error message when trying to write a report. I am currently studying for the Microsoft Office Specialist Certification & I am unable to carry out my studies because of this.
Microsoft Support website points you to Microsoft Answers. I've registered the required msdao15.dll & dao360.dll files as suggested there. A message confirmed the registration was successful but did not solve the problem.
I opened RegEdit & found the following entries
Key Name: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{00000507-0000-0010-8000-00AA006D2EA4}\InprocServer32

Should the file path for the entry %CommonProgramFiles%\System\ado\msado15.dll be C:\CommonPrograms%\System\ado\msado15.dll? Also should it be in quotes? If so, is it simply a case of clicking the entry in RegEdit, then clicking modify & changing the file path manually?
I've never amended entries in the Registry before & am very nervous about doing it. I don't want to make matters worse but don't know what else to do.
I would be grateful for any help on this one.
