microsoft office refuses to uninstall!

i had a trial version of microsoft office installed on my windows 7 netbook but the subscription has since run out and i want rid of it from my computer as it takes up a great deal of memory space and i find the program impractical... but the program refuses to uninstall!!!

what is causing the problem?

many have written about this problem, including this forum.
try "Windows Install Clean Up", from microsoft, or you can try "RipOutOffice2007.exe", it works on all version eventhough the name is misleading.

You can try running the Microsoft fix it tool at the end of the following article.
Make sure to use the tool for the Office suite you have installed.

How do I uninstall Office 2003, Office 2007 or Office 2010 suites if I cannot uninstall it from Control Panel?
