    Flickering display in Word 2002

I recently developed a major annoyance in Word 2002 in Windows 7 64 bit on a laptop with Mobile Intel 4 Series Express Chipset Family display.

The following doc http://www.orthohelp.com/Problem doc.doc demonstrates the problem.

When I open it in Word 2002 it flickers and locks up Word 2002. The same doc does not flicker in Word 2007. How do I get rid of the flickering and locking? Thanks.

How did you solve it? Telling us how could help others that read this post, or help us help others in the future.

I know. I hate those teasers where it's solved without a posted resolution.

It's not so much that I really want to know, its that I actually use the search function to look for solved threads where the OP had a similar problem. Almost every problem that occurs has happened to someone else.

I did not post the solution because it was too complicated to explain. In essence the document was created by copy/pastes. The problem was that some of the data overlapped the right margins of the table/document and Word did not know how to format it and became locked. I solved it by copy pasting a bit of the text at the time to ensure it fit within the prescribed table cells.

Good deal. Thank you for the explanation. :)

Doesn't seem that complicated to me. And kudos on fixing it.
