export outlook contacts to windows contacts?

Im trying to get outlook contacts to show up under my windows contacts under

    user\contacts

I send a lot of faxes and it's annoying not to mention inconvenient to manually add contacts so they show up in fax and scan.

The way I got this done was to export the contacts from outlook, import them to gmail, then after gmail did its magic and merged + fixed all the duplicates I exported them from gmail as a .vcf and opened the .vcf with windows contacts and it added them one by one.

Another way is to export contacts as a comma separated values (.csv) file and then import that file. I just did it and it works fine.

    I'm gonna try this one.
I've been trying to find portable PIM's and the one I found requires .vcf

Good luck, it only took around 10 minutes for the whole thing, but it was really really really annoying to find some of my merged contacts on google kept the wrong numbers.

Well I was able to. I went to Scan and Fax program then Tools>Contacts. Clicked import once Windows Contacts came up.
