installed office 07, but can I remove outlook?

First I want to say Thank You to everyone that has helped me in my first few days here. I am coming from xp to 7 and really am on the verge of pulling my hair out. :)

Ok.. latest thing I've done and now am questioning.. I installed office small business 07 and forgot that included outlook. I hate having a bunch of programs on my pc that I will never touch.. so.. can I somehow just remove the outlook part? If so, how.

    ........update solved.....

DUH put the disk back in and it does ask for each component. I am not sure running that will take out the things I don't want, but I'm trying it. If it doesn't I can uninstall and redo it the right way. Thanks for not thinking I'm a dummy.. I'm just a very tired grandma who's baby girl turned 39 today! :)

What I've done is go to Control Panel, select Microsoft Office and click Change.

It will then bring up a list of all the components.

From there, you can select which ones to remove.

    Good Luck

I installed Microsoft office 2003 and 2007 on my Windows 7 computer. Control panel, uninstall , Microsoft Office does not allow me to "change". My only choice is to uninstall the entire program. There is no option to uninstall the individual programs Excel,Work, Outlook.

So I uninstalled Office 2007, but I really want to keep Office 2003 Word and Excel. How do I just remove Outlook?

If the change feature will not work in "Programs And Features" in the Control Panel.

You will need your original install media for this.

    Uninstall Office.

Reinstall office and select "Custom" install during install.

Un-select Outlook. And any other programs you don't want.

    Re-activate.
