I guess thats the problem when you dont buy the disc and download. Thanks anyway.

Still doesnt make any sense that I can open up and use Word but cant find the program .exe

two ideas, hopefully one might help you,
right click the icon you use to open the office program, properties, and look for the target folder, maybe it's just in a different place.
or, try borrowing the disc from a friend, and use tour own serial number, if of course it is the same version.
