Windows 7: Add sender to blocked senders list

I normally receive several junk emails in my inbox as the junk email addresses do not appear in my blocked senders list.

What is annoying is that Outlook 2007 (and I presume other versions) only allows you to add junk mail addresses individually - if you select several emails, click Junk E-mail from the Actions menu, the "Add Sender to Blocked Senders List" and other options (except Junk E-mail Options) are greyed out. If I selected a single junk mail, all Junk E-mail menu items are accessible.

Is there a way to add several emails to either blocked senders list or to safe senders list???

Selecting multiple messages to add to the Blocked Sender List isn't natively supported in Outlook. See if the SpamBayes plugin helps.

Having said that, the "from" portions of those emails are likely to change every time so rules based off the subjects may be a better idea than trying to block the actual senders of the emails.

The best way to go about this is to create a rule that allows those e-mails to automatically get deleted. Look for common words, sentence, items, or combinations, create a rule using them and set your preferences - send to delete box, delete automatically without going to the delete box. Play around with the rules at first till you get the hang of it as you don't want legimate e-mails getting deleted. I've had to do this in the past and it works pretty well once you get the hang of it.

The other thing I would recommend is only giving your e-mail address/es out to "trusted" parties, and informing your friends that you do not approve of them including you in their mass forwarding e-mails.

It might hurt their feelings for a minute, but it's your e-mail box that suffers long term
