Uninstall BETA before INSTALLING TRIAL??

Hi

I have been using Beta Office 2010 Pro for about 5-6 months. Expires in a couple of days.

I downloaded TRIAL of Office 2010 Pro, valid for 2 more months - and then I will get Pro as Xmas present...

...But do I need to Uninstall Beta before Installing trial or can I just set off the .exe of the TRIAL and IT will do it's thing???

Of course. The beta was released months before the trial came out so there are important and critical updates in the trial. Uninstall the beta first and then install the trial to prevent problems.

Uninstall beta and make sure you uninstall it completely, google for it. By all accounts installation of trial runs into problems otherwise.

Thanks all. Uninstalled Office Beta, uninstalled Outlook Connector, rebooted, installed Office Trial, rebooted, upgraded Outlook Connector from inside Outlook, rebooted, all ok.
