| | How can I re-index Outlook 2010? I am running Office 2010, and for some reason my search option within Outlook 2010 works, and sometimes not. What can I do to "force" for everything there to be re-indexed? By the way, I am running Windows 7 x64 and made a clean install of Office 2010. Any other advises? |

| | File, Options, Search. Click Indexing Options then click advanced. Rebuild Index is on the Index Settings page. |

| | Re-indexng Outook 2007 This worked great for my computer running Outlook 2010. Can anyone advise how to do same for Outlook 2007? |

| | I have Outlook 2007 with the same indexing issue. Go to Tools|Options|Search, then UNcheck the Outlook and Archive, click OK, then exit Outlook. Restart Outlook and do the same but this time CHECK Outlook and Archive, then OK. Exit Outlook one more time, then restart Outlook. May take Outlook some time to finish the re-indexing. This worked for me. Good luck. |
