Office 2007 Pro Trial downloads anywhere?

I am trying to help someone recover their PC software without any backups. The only piece of software that I cannot find to help them restore is Office 2007 Pro. The guy had installed a copy from a download and has the legitimate product license key, but does not have the installation files and cannot find a download copy now.

I thought I could locate a Trial version that he could install and subsequently (re)register his existing key. Assuming that approach is legitimate, the problem is that I cannot locate a download for the trial version any more. All the download links that I have followed redirect to the newer 2010 office suite.

Was this ia reasonable approach? Is he SOL? Or can someone suggest a solution?

    Thank you.

I found some secret sauce that the internet has not yet forgotten. I expect these will disappear eventually, so no point posting them, but leave me a message if you have need.

So glad to have the WayBack machine! Eh, Sherman?

OK, I admit I was being obscure.

Sherman, the wayback machine is of course, at Internet Archive: Wayback Machine
where you can to back in time to old posts on websites, even if they are no longer there. Don't you love having a cache of the web?

Hence, looking backward in time for links, if a server is still serving data at that link...

Most importantly, never download anything from anywhere that you are not supposed to download. PERIOD. I like my white hat, even if it gets a bit dusty from time to time.
