how to set Word 07 to open draft view by default

When I open a new document it only takes up a small portion of the screen. When I click the draft view icon the page fills the whole screen. I would like the document to occupy the whole screen by default.
Thanks

Hi

Couple of hits on Google:

Default to Draft View in Word 2007
How Do I Change My Default Page Layout View in Word 2007?

Also note the following (sourced from eggheadcafe)

Quote:

Note also that documents, even if saved in Draft view, will not open in
Draft view unless you have explicitly selected that option in Office Button
| Word Options | Advanced: General: "Allow opening a document in Draft
view."
