    Sending an e-mail from Word

I read that you can send a word document as an e-mail direct from Word.
    Using the following method:
From the Word document select the Office button and choose Send, then click the E-Mail option.
When I try to do this my computer hangs up and I have to go into Task Manager to end it.
I would like to know what I am doing wrong.

    Thanks

Thanks, but that document does not work for me. It's using Word 2003 which must differ from the version I am using which is Office 2007, and my mail program is Microsoft Outlook.

i know..maybe you should try this trick..
    i have try it.
right click the quick access toolbar and choose "more commands" if you don't know where is it, this the link
Customize the Quick Access Toolbar - Support - Microsoft Office
then set "choose commands from" to "all commands" in the list of commands scroll down to "send to mail recipient"
click on send to mail recipient then click add. click OK on the bottom.

now you can use that tool to toggle ON/OFF emails header for sending the current windows contents as an email.

    Good luck ~

I went through the proceedure to add: "Send to Mail Recipient" to the Quick Access toolbar.
When I am in the Word document I want to send I click this link on the quick access toolbar and nothing happens.
