Hi,
I just changed my PC. Having backed up the contents of Outlook 2007 from my last machine, I reinstalled it on my new one and then copied the backups over to the respective folder.
On launching Outlook I received the following warning:
Quote:
The mail profile "Outlook" was created with a newer version of Outlook and might contain information that is not compatible with your current Outlook version. If you experience problems with this profile, you can create a new profile. In Windows Control Panel, open Mail, then click Show Profiles, and then click Add.
I clicked on OK and everything loaded as it should. The only thing I had to do to get it working normally was add back my mail account passwords. Nonetheless, on restarting Outlook I received the same message.
Thinking that the problem was probably caused by the fact I had not yet installed all the updates, including SP2, I did the necessary but still get the same message every time I start the program. Apart from this everything works perfectly.
Can someone tell me how I can get rid of this message on start up once and for all please?
