    PowerPoint 2003 in Win7

My Powerpoint 2003 works quite alright in Win 7 with no real problems, but I do have an annoyance that someone may be able to share some wisdom about. After I have done up my slideshow I go back and do the custom animation. After I do that on one slide, when I go to the next slide a warning pops up saying "The Office Assistant requires Microsoft Agent 2 or later. This product is available on the Office System Pack."

I tried the hotfix and it made no difference, This is an annoyance, clicking OK about 7 times in a slideshow.

    Any Ideas would be appreciated.

    thanks

    Hmm...

If the hotfix doesn't work, the what about disabling office assistant?

Lemur, you are a genius. I tried that and for the short run I gave it after it seemed to solve the problem. Thanks. I have increased your rep.
