    Office 2010 Drive Q

I thought I'd post this as information, if it needs to be moved or removed, feel free to do so.

I've seen a few threads with people asking where this mysterious Q drive has come from.
This is created by the Office Home and Business 2010 Beta Click-to-Run Installer for High Speed Internet...

    Here's a link to Office 2010 faq's,
    Microsoft Office 2010 Beta FAQ

On a side note to this, Someone asked, "What if you already have a Q Drive on your computer?"

I thought that was a good question so I created a small Q drive
and then tried to run the installer and This is what I got below.

So if you have a Q drive it will not let you proceed with the Install.

I'm sure this will get buried in a few days, but thought I'd share it anyway.:)

Truly a post worthy of rep, but you have so many good posts, I cannot rep for this one. Thanks from all that will benefit.

There are more possible sources for virtual drives. If e.g. you mount an image of Paragon or Macrium, you also get virtual drives (as many as you mount images - I wonder what happens when they run out of letters). Good thing is that they disappear after reboot.

Bob, you are always able to delete your own threads. Go to the Edit button > Advanced, and you will see.
