    Activation - Office 2007


    Hey Guys,

    Just a question In my Family we have 3 Licence Key Disk of Microsoft Office 2007 Home and Student,

    1 For my Dad's Desktop
    1 For My Mums Laptop
    1 For Mine

    I was wondering because I will be doing a Custom Install Of Windows 7 on my Laptop will I still be able to use the Product key or not? Would I need to buy a new Copy?

    Any Advice Is appreciated

    Uninstall Office completely before upgrading your your Windows. Follow steps told here: Office Validation After Reinstall. Second post tells the exact procedure, even if the OP's situation is not similar than yours.

    Kari - has it spot on. Uninstall Office completely, upgrade Windows, then reinstall and validate Office. All will be good.
