2010 outlook spam filters Trying to write rules for some spam emails. Under creating rules, I only see one option to choose "from" and no where to write in the name. i.e. Email from "johnadoe@shop.johndoe.com" is listed only as John.A.Doe in the From section.
Used to be able to write in what you want, can't find out how to do it in 2010.
Under "junk" I chose to block sender, still ends up in Junk folder.
I also tried Right Click, rules..Always move messages from John.A.Doe and I chose to delete them, however goes to junk mail rather than delete folder.
I think this is because it is listed as John.A.Doe rather than "..shop.johndoe.com"?? Tx | My System Specs |

Hi Meebers,
Have you tried the Advanced Options, and using the "specific words in receipients address" as per the image below? I've used that before to stop some spam. | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number Golden Mk. Nice one Meebers. Post back your findings - if it works for you, click on the exclamation mark near the top right corner of your post, and type SOLVED so the forum moderators can show it as solved. this helps other people who have the same query hone in on the solution quicker | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number Golden Mk. Well the daily round of spam hit my computer this morning and the rule I made did not work. Here is a shot of everything I seen from image shack. http://img811.imageshack.us/img811/5757/jb1r.jpg Notice Junk Mail (1) rule was in place to delete it not place it in the junk mail. The little note below the header said that the Junk Mail filter moved it there. Is the junk mail filter first in the line of defense and it never got to process the rule I made?? I am still trying to resolve it. As it turns out, a backward step, I emptied all my filters etc in an attempt to rebuild a fresh "defense". I had 168 "spam" type emails this morning.
