    Importing MLM into Outlook 2010

I recently purchased Microsoft Office 2010 with the intent of making use of Outlook 2010 as my default mail program. However, after exporting from MLM in CSv format and importing into Outlook 2010 I find my international characters (French Canadian) in a jumble.
They were ok in MLM. How come they are not so in Outlook 2010?

    Can anyone help me?

    Hi,

I'm not really sure if this is the answer, but have you enabled French Canadian under the Language option? See image below.

    Hello Golden,

Thank you for your reply & suggestion. Yes, I have set/alternated my Language preferences from French Canadian to US back and forth and re-opened Outlook as suggested by the program. But to no avail.
    This is very strange!
I had no problems in Outlook Express for years with languages.
What I did was used Express Assist 10 to transfer all my emails and contacts from my old computer Windows XP to my new computer Windows 7. Everything went fine with the import to MLM (again using Express Assist 10).
I next purchased Windows Office 10 with the intent of using Outlook 10 for my emails. But then I ran into 2 major problems.
This one with the language issue and the other....I guess will have to go on an other topic issue.

As I look at my messages the strange thing that happen is that "some" emails have the language problems and others don't. For instance Subject headers would not display the "é" properly yet in others it was ok.
In the body I have similar situations! My contacts have similar problem! Why all these differences in Outlook and not MLM or even Outlook Express?
    Sorry for the lenghty reply.

Thanks you for any help you can provide.
