| | excel opening as read only i have a weird issue...i open an excel worksheet (both from the server and from desktop) and every now and then they open as read only and i've worked on them in the past. when this happens i have to reboot my laptop and the problem is gone. This happens very randomly...has anybody had this issue before... |

| | I recently helped someone with something similar (his problem was also apparently caused by excel) Entire drive turned into Read-Only The solution located in that thread may also be of use to you. |
