In attachment I've load sample template to reproduce bug.
Steps:
1. Open Template
2. Ctrl+A (select)
3. Ctrl+C (copy)
4. Ctrl+End (to the end of document)
5. Ctrl+Enter (page break)
6. Ctrl+V (paste)
7. Ctrl+S (save)
And after save we see that first line of the second page dissapeared!
But if we save document before any changes and after changes save again - it will be ok, i.e. steps
1. Open Template
2. Ctrl+S (save)
Steps 2-6 from above sample
3. Ctrl+S (save again).
And we see that no lines disappeared!

I followed your steps but cannot reproduce the bug - it works fine, with no loss of any text from the new two page template. I am using Office 2010 32-bit under Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit.

OK, I get the same behaviour, the loss of the empty line. I don't know why though :(
