Outlook 2010 downloading 100s of duplicate emails & a need to sync
I want to configure Outlook 2010 to handle two POP3 accounts into a single PST file. I need to use just a single PST file as I want to sync all my contacts etc. with my iPhone (Previously though I had configured Outlook 2010 with a PST file for each POP3 account, but iTunes would just sync with one – hence my want for to use a single PST file).
But little did I realise that if Outlook 2010 is configured to handle two or more POP3 accounts it manifests duplicate emails – and I mean hundreds of the things, which can mess up your email system big time.
I have since found out that many overs have been plagued with this duplicate issue and that MS is apparently aware of the problem but as yet, has failed to provide a fix – see here:
