    Non-comercial use

When I open any Microsoft office word, excel, powerpoint it says at the top: (NAME OF THE FILE) non-commercial use.
What is this and how can I remove it?
    Thanks.

Thats because you're using the Home & Student edition, its by design.

The title bar displays "non-commercial use" when you start an Office Home and Student 2010 or 2007 program

It shouldnt matter really, its not bothering you.

I guess you can edit the title bar in the registry but really it would be like a breach of the eula, so I would advise against it.

Basically -- you can't remove it -- at least, not in any permanent way.

When Home & Student came out, there were lots of threads on the net about how to remove that wording -- but in all cases, they either "broke" Office so it wouldn't work anymore, or the removal only took until you rebooted -- and then it was back.

The end result was that the only real way to remove the wording was to purchase a different version of Office.
