Windows 7: Avast / Outlook 2010 Help

My Outlook 2010 will not send out emails unless my 'scan outgoing emails' in Avast is not checked.



For more background, you can see my previous post which I was able to get the two programs to work together > I am baffled, Outlook 2010 will not send emails

but the first sentence above is a simple description of the problem. Thx.

Yes, thank you. I have been to this website and have checked everything off. Encryption is not checked and I have checked down everything here. Still does not allow my emails to go through with 'scan outgoing emails' checked.

That's a pity, I was hopeful...

Unfortunately, AV's do create problems when scanning mail.
