Dynamic Hyperlinks, Retrieving tables also from web into EXCEL 2010
I spent a bit of time trying to pull stuff off YAHOO for Financial analysis.
I've uploaded the spreadsheet ( the RAR file)so you can use some of the techniques for other stuff -- doesn't matter if you don't understand the Stock exchange -- should give you a basic idea of
1) Pulling a TABLE from YAHOO as a CSV file and loading it to EXCEL cells
2) Creating Dynamic Hyperlinks for linking to specified web pages
I'm sure the VBA gurus could make my code more efficient -- I'm NOT a programming Guru -- so if there are any better ways just do it .
I actually had a lot of fun with this stuff.
For Call / Put data enter the symbol in Cell K7 and fill in cells K9 -K15 then click Call / put buttons
To see option detalis click link in Cells N7 / O7
You don't need to be a Stock Guru -- the spreadsheet just shows what you can do with WEB DATA -- plenty of other applications I'm sure.
Screen shot enc of the basic spreadsheet
Have fun with it
To see macros etc just hit ALT / F11 from the excel main sheet or enable the developer view and click on macros
