I also try to install this bulky version and give up.
Staying with version 14.0.4006.1010 and rearm.

I just got my Microsoft Connect email inviting me to d/l the 2010 TP direct from MS. Downloading now, I'll compare to this one once I finish the d/l.

Can someone please tell me how to uninstall Office 2010? Is there a way to "wipe" it? It won't let me uninstall, and it messed up my existing Office 2007 installation as well.

    Thanks!

exactly. Honestly, I rebuilt my machine with 7600 today because of it! I had 2007 installed, then installed this 2010 beta fake and landed where you are. Here are some tips.

    1) if you can system restore to office 2007, do it.
    a) if you cannot do a system restore, reboot in safe mode and do it ( this happened to me because of a bug with the intel controller I was using)
    2) if that does not work, here is an awesome guide on how to do it with 2007, but most of the same applies with 2010 fake beta

How to manually uninstall the 2007 Office system if you cannot uninstall it by using the "Add or Remove Programs" feature

    3) if all else fails, wait or rebuild with the rtm candidate and cross your fingers that it gets voted as the real rtm.

Test the 4 things I listed. I can almost gurantee they will not work. Just hope you never have to uninstall it for the real beta when it is released. To test, try uninstalling it from the control panel. You will see. Don't worry, even if for some reason it does work, you still have a chance to cancel it. But you will see it fail immediately.

Why do oyu need to uninstall it? You are gonna wipe it anyway as soon as yo install W7 RTM, so try it till that date.

    New update:

You can apply to MS Connect for the Office 2010 Beta version.
Microsoft Feedback and Bug Reporting - Product and Program Categories | Microsoft Connect
Look for Microsoft Office 2010 in the directory. You will need to sign in, and then fill out a little questionnaire. I applied right now, so we will see if it works.

Definitely looks like this was a fake and I believe that the "Mondo" portion is some kind of spyware etc. building on the old Mondo codename for o2007. Mondo is not a part of the real deal I just d/led from MS. The MS d/l is build 14.0.4006.1110:

Note the proper office log on the Office button there in the real download rather than the corrupted "File'F" construction in the torrent download...
