Your IMAP server closed the connection.

I am trying to manage my 4 gmail accounts in Outlook, and I keep getting a message saying "Your IMAP server closed the connection," and therefore I cannot check my emails through Outlook! HELP!

I think you need to exclude the IMAP account from any group that has an automatic send/receive scheduled (e.g. "All accounts" group).

How do I do that? Sorry, I'm not very handy with Outlook.
