    Microsoft Word/Powerpoint 2007 Won't Open

I currently am setting up 4 new PCs for my workplace. They are runnin Windows 7 Pro 32 bit. I am having issues with MS Office 07. 2 of the PCs run all of the office programs fine. The other 2 will not open word or powerpoint. They just crash on startup. Both these computers are on a domain and the domain user has Admin privileges, however it still does not launch. When I log directly into the administrator account it does launch but if I go back to the domain user (with admin permissions) it fails to launch. I have read tons of forums and tried everything from the reinstalling, repairing, deleting the registry, deleting the normal.dot, running some registry commands and still nothing. I am out of ideas and curious as to why it would work fine on 2 of the PCs but not the other 2. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I know there is plenty of info out there on this issue, but I have tried everything I can find and still no success.

    Welcome to Sevenforums!

Start - Control Panel - Administrative tools - Event Viewer.
Please check for Office errors logs under Windows Logs - Application.

It will give you error codes and more info. At least some starting point...

Drawing an analogy, "Ford 2009" - that is some info, but not much :)

"Event 1000, Exception code: 0xc0000374" means error with STATUS_HEAP_CORRUPTION (means memory access violated).

More info is required. What was the source? Circumstances? You can pull more info out of that entry.

Please take a screenshot of General tab of that error and also go to Details view, expand all items and copy whole text.

what about previous error with Event ID 2001?

11 people from here reported that in similar cases error does something to do with printer's driver.
Try to uninstall printer and check whether the problem persist.

Other people say that deleting this registry thread helps.
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Word
Word will recover this thread during next start-up.

The other event is failing to launch word in safe mode. I have tried the deleting the registry for word and it did nothing. I will try to the printer option.
Thanks for your help so far.

The printer driver WAS the issue. I wonder which driver version if any I can use that will work. It was just using the default install driver through windows when finding the network printer.

    Thanks

Use official Printer driver from manufacture's website.
