    Please be more specific:
    Version of Outlook? What maps addon?
    Google maps? Or MS Live Search Maps Add-in for Outlook (which was discontinued like in 2008)?

The installation simply stops apparently before the download is completed. Only references I can find talk about .NET Framework and WIC, but in the context of XP. Aren't those those things included in Windows 7 Ultimate?
