Word 2007 Numbered Lists

    Word 2007 Numbered Lists


    A problem that I haven't encountered before is shown in the attachment below. All was going as expected, until I reached #10 on the list, and it decided to add 4 addtional spaces between the numbers and the items, and won't permit me to backspace as I would like. Can this be corrected?

    Since you've already started your lists, what you need to do is right click on the page and go to >Adjust List Indents > Follow number with: > and then choose the selection you want. Right now it is set to Tab. Set it to space and adjust the spaces between numbers and items manually.
