    Office 2007 SP2 Supported on Win 7 ?

    Hi All

Did a quick search and couldnt find anything, but on the microsoft download centre, Win 7 is not listed as a supported OS for Office 2007 SP2. Does anyone know if Microsoft Advise that it is supported or that it works?

As I can't find anything stating this, it only goes up to vista

Well "Supported" and "Works" are two different things, at my work, All windows 7 users are using SP 2 without issues.

I just bought a Win 7 computer on May 25th this year.
I have a retail version of Home & Student 2007 which I used on my now defunct Vista computer.
I installed the Office 2007 into my new Win 7 computer without a glitch. And, I have been using the Office programs since then.
And, the 2007 Office version has been updated to SP2 since then via Windows Upates.

As one who has Office 2007 Enterprise installed on both a laptop and a desktop, both running Windows 7sp1 x64, yes, it works

    yep, I'm also running MSOffice2007 in Win7 64-bit Ultimate

first I installed the fully licensed Home and Student version of Office2000,
and then I installed the 2007 version over the top of it, everything updated perfectly..

the whole thing runs beautifully - and a smashing suite of progs it is, too..!!

    Hi there
Even Office 2003 works fine on W7 (and W7 X-64)

I run this version (2003) in a W7 Virtual machine -- there are still a few things that Office 2003 version does that is a bit more complicated to do in 2010 or 2007 - particularly with XML files.

I'm sure that you should still get normal updates for office 2007 -- it hasn't reached "End of Life" yet and probably like XP it won't die for ages and ages yet.

    Cheers
