Switching off the Outlook People Pane is a work around for this.

Other options for fix are to ensure IE is default browser, revert all security settings to default and reboot.

Also from within Outlook, go to File, Options, Adins and disable bad adin

Also provide user with full access to Outlook temp folder under Users\userid\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files

Also ensure this path is correct here:
Click Start
Internet Options click OK.
General tab, click Settings in the Browsing History area
The Current Location should be C:\Users\youruserid\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files
