I have Windows 7 64 bit running Office 2010 64 bit.
As of yesterday, Outlook 2010 messages that I pull into explorer folders, including the desktop, are missing their file type icons (see attached image). No other items for either Office apps or any other file types are missing their icons.
I have already tried using "Control Panel, Default Programs, Associate a file type or protocol with a program" to a) ensure the item was assigned to Outlool (which it was) and b) tried changing it to another program and re-assinging it to Outlook to see if it would "take" but wound up with the same missing icon.
I really don't want to re-install Office 2010.
It's a minor inconvenience but I would still like to fix it.
Thanks for any advice you can provide.
