    PDF bookmarked files from Word

Using FrameMaker and Adobe Acrobat I can create PDF files that include a navigation pane with bookmarks that are hot links into the displayed PDF document. I would like to do this same thing using Word. Do I need Acrobat to do this? (Acrobat is expensive). Also, which revision of Word do I need?
    Thanks, Bob

    Hi Bob

Which version of Office are you using? If you are using Word 2010, perhaps the Navigation Pane would achieve you goal - assuming that I have correctly understood your question:
Use the Navigation Pane to search and move around in your document - Word - Office.com

Or maybe this is the answer:
Create, format, or delete a hyperlink - Word - Office.com

File-Save As and save as PDF. Press the options button and check the appropriate entries.
