    Uninstalling office 2010 problem

Ok, So I recently bought office. Im trying to install it now and it says:
"Setup Error: You cannot install the 32-bit version of Office 2010 because you have 64-bit Office products installed. These 64-bit products are not supported with 32-bit installations:
    Microsoft Office Word 2010"
And then is basically says if i want the 64 bit version i need to uninstall the 32 bit version and vice versa.

The thing is that i DONT HAVE WORD 2010.
Ive searched for it all over my computer. Ive tried regedit too.
Its not in the add or remove programs list either.
HOW DO I GET RID OF IT? I just want to install 2010!
    PLEASE HEELLP!

Have you checked what software was bundled with your computer (assuming you bought a proprietary model and didn't build it yourself)?

Check that you haven't got a trial version of Microsoft Office 2010 x64 installed. Even something like Powerpoint Viewer x64 would trigger a similar message.

You say you checked the registry. Try a search just on Microsoft Office 2010 rather than Word and see if anything shows, although I will say that whatever is installed should show up in Uninstall a Program.

Navigate to the Microsoft Support website and click "Microsoft Fix it" icon (Microsoft Fix it 50450) below Office 2010 suites.

Click "Save" to save Microsoft Fix it 50450 on to your computer.

Double-click the downloaded file (MicrosoftFixit50450) to start the Fix it wizard.

Click "Next" on the welcome screen of the Microsoft Fix it 50450 wizard dialog box that opens.

Click the "I Agree" check box on the MICROSOFT SOFTWARE LICENSE TERMS dialog box and then click "Next." This will start the Office 2010 removal process.

Click "Finish" after the Office 2010 removal process is completed.
