    Getting closer...

Sorry for being so silly. I've never been a streaker but it kinda feels like it. I got the snipet to capture the screen I want, saved it. Found the paperclip uploaded it but...
I see the file down there

This looks like it would achieve the result you are seeking:
On the References tab > Insert Index > check the box which says "Right align page numbers". (see below)

If he's doing it manually rather than using the TOC wizard, perhaps a monospaced font would be in order?

    TOC posted

    Hello everyone,

I went through the styles/TOC as suggested here it wouldn't take - so I cut the original manual TOC and the Formatted TOC popped right in looking aligned.

The new problem is this : On my ribbon heading 1 showed faded fonts but the other end showed it being bold. I just had a print out and the heading is indeed faded. A look I don't like.

What do I do to change these faded heading? Will changing the headings affect the the update feature on TOC? I'm getting closer to solving this.

I've learned alot here, the paperclip and capturing screenshots were very interesting.

    You're welcome.

There are other similar tutorials available from the menu on the left-hand side.

I noticed that and plan on diving in, my monthly allotment of bandwidth is getting thin so I'll have to taper off or go down to the library and tap into their wifi. In any event I've got it bookmarked and will be back. You've been very helpful to me and once again thanks!
