I have a Dell V313w printer and using PowerPoint (office 2010), when I select "Print on both sides" it prints out on one side. I am unable to figure out why it does this. Any advice would help so that I don't have to print out 20 pages a week for lecture notes for a class.
nevermind, i figured it out. i had to click printer properties underneath the select printer button. whereas i was clicking on the setting button in the powerpoint window. i think that powerpoint and the printer were conflicted, the printer was set to single sided whereas powerpoint was set to duplex printing.
I think what you'll need to do is configure your printer for duplex printing first, and then launch Powerpoint, which should then inherit the Windows settings for your printer.

I did set the printer to duplex printing first and it still printed on one side.

You've got me intrigued now, I think I'll poke around in the Powerpoint and printer settings and see what transpires.
