Help - Outlook 2010 filters

Good morning all,

I have Outlook 2010 setup on my computers, and in our industry we get xml files, but Outlook 2010 keeps rejecting the xml extension.

Does anyone know of a way I can set outlook so those files will pass thru?

Thank you,

CD

You have letters with this extension you are trying to open them in Outlook or those are files to attach?
Is there an error pop-up?

I have files sent to my officce that have .xml extention. Being the raw data, that information is opened with the parent program of the given file.

If you have local Outlook 2010 (not an Exchange server) please report if this regfix will help. Reboot might be required.
Code:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\14.0\Outlook\Security]
"Level1Remove"=".xml"
Attached Files
File Type: reg Outlook2010_xml_allow.reg (270 Bytes, 3 views)
